Ambré’s sound is incredibly unique. It is floating and luxurious, and I can best relate it to a candlelight dinner or a golden sunrise. Ambré is from New Orleans, and the factors from her childhood that most greatly affected her current musical success are her participation in church and school choir, and the musical environment NoLA provided. Ambré has had incredible success both as a songwriter and a musician. She has written for H.E.R., opened for Kehlani’s shows, and is currently signed with Roc Nation. Her inspiration consists of artists such as Andre 3000 and Nina Simone.
